About US
Recognizing the need for energy-efficient homes in Southwest Florida, David Wishtischin made the bold decision to form a home-building construction company serving the Cape Coral area. Custom home builders were in short supply at the height of an economic recession. But when most owners in the construction industry were backpedaling, David was looking forward. Together with the services of an experienced building scientist, David put his extensive construction knowledge and experience to work at his new home construction company in Cape Coral, developing some of the area’s most energy-efficient concepts in custom homebuilding and launching the highly rated Ravenwood Homes, CGC 1519238.
As his reputation as a custom home builder in Cape Coral grew and spread from Boca Grande to Bonita Springs and beyond, David remained focused on addressing the needs of Southwest Florida homeowners by providing quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design, energy-efficient construction, and lasting value across a range of home styles and budgets.
The Ravenwood Homes team has been working together for more than 12 years and has become one of the most trusted custom home builders in Cape Coral and throughout Southwest Florida. The majority of their carefully selected subcontractors have consistently provided professional services since the first Ravenwood Home was built in 2009. The longevity of these relationships and the trust they have built are further indicators of Ravenwood Homes’ commitment to consistent, high-quality workmanship and lasting value for homeowners.

A Husband & Wife In it For Life
In 2012, David’s wife, Brittany, joined the team as Executive Vice President and head of Sales and Marketing. Pairing Brittany’s background in design and sales with David’s 21 years of construction experience has proven that their partnership is as successful in business as it is in life.
For example, they realized that the quality of construction when it came to more modest homes was lacking. That led them to create Gulf Living Homes by Ravenwood Homes CGC 1519238, which builds efficient, smaller homes that offer the larger outdoor living spaces and upscale features typically reserved for much more expensive homes. Now any homeowner can enjoy the Southwest Florida lifestyle, no matter their budget.
When David and Brittany aren’t at work together, they enjoy spending time with their three children: David, Jackson, and Charlee. David holds an undergraduate Science degree from the University of Connecticut and attended the Graduate School of Business at the University of Massachusetts. Brittany graduated from Blue Cliff College.
